- You can still order and receive cylinders. The difference is the price you pay.
- This is not irreversible. Once you complete your eKYC verification, your subsidy eligibility and DBT payments should resume.
Even though your connection isn't cut off, paying the non-subsidized rate can be significantly more expensive over time. The price difference per cylinder can add up quickly.

What About PMUY Beneficiaries?
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) beneficiaries are a particular focus of the eKYC drive. If you received your LPG connection under PMUY, completing eKYC is especially important to maintain your subsidized cylinder entitlement and continued benefits under the scheme.
Can You Complete eKYC After the Deadline?
Yes. Based on available information, eKYC verification remains available even after a stated deadline has passed. Once you complete the verification, your subsidy eligibility should be restored and your DBT payments should resume.
However, subsidies paused during the unverified period may not be paid retroactively. It's always better to complete the process as soon as possible.
